Title: Wildcat Hand Signal
Post by: star seed 7 on August 24, 2013, 11:11:28 PM
Question about the "Wildcat" Hand Sign.

When I see people doing this are they creating a "W" and a "C" for "Wildcat" Thumb and Index Finger create the "C" and three remaining fingers create the "W".

Or are they creating the power cat logo with their hand. by having the thumb and index finger representing the mouth of the powercat and the middle finger representing the eye and top of the cats head.

Anyone out there know the truth.? I have heard both explanations. Maybe its both.

Cant wait until this Friday. Go CATS

Saw that too, I was also in the band when it was born and wanted it to die when it started. People would do it when the percussion played "shocker" so I would just do the shocker and move it straight up and down so it looked like I was participating. (did the real shocker, not the lew perkins also killed our football program version)

Not to mention doing a tomahawk styled WC hand gesture vaguely looks like a first down motion - seems pretty rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) when the Katz are on D.
