Yup, totally absurd. It is a particular disservice to minorities, but both parties like to do it.

I mean, I watched the Dems Gerrymander the hell out of this state for years (and for decades prior to my arrival) prior to 'Pubs finally becoming the majority, and didn't say a word.

it's time for gerrymandering to go. Districts should be set geometrically with an algorithm based on population distribution. It should not be political.
