Man, how awesome it must be to be an Alabama fan.

This reminds me of all that money in the pic that Pancakes posted on twitter before heading our way.

$$ could just be from reparations

Alabama (and Auburn for that matter) absolutely has their players paid large sums of money. It not even disputed now, is it?

No, but assuming they don't have a paper trail leading back to them, it would be hard to put sanctions on them...wouldn't it?

Every semester I picked up a scholarship refund check between $2,500 and $3,000. If I were to cash it (which I wouldn't, because I'm a white), I could take a picture like that. This picture does not indicate any violations, in-and-of itself.

Can you imagine what is in their trash cans?

It IS summer time... They look like enterprising young lads. Perhaps they've been mowing lawns, or something.
:dunno:

I feel bad for uab or northern Alabama

They would feel bad for you too, if they had ever heard of you.

1. :opcat:
2. The story says that the guy had other tweets where he was saying his struggle is over and that he was able to send "large bills" to his relatives too.
I have a feeling what is in his hand is not all of it.

Stimulating the local economy

As a black man, I can tell you that these types of threads from you guys always come across as racist. One must wonder how many recruits you've lost because of this racist blog.
I'm strangely confused by this turn of events...
:don'tcare:

Probably just meant that "when done up in black face", the referenced thread came off as extremely racist. That would make sense.

I'd say if referring to the Saban years, yes, disputed.

What we don't give in cash, we give in intrinsic values and such which NEWSFLASH - you can't put a dollar figure on.

What is the going rate to bring 2-3 5*s to MHK on an annual basis, and would it be cheaper than redoing Vanier? Might be much more effective.

It's not the school who needs to do this. We need some slick/stud ass boosters who aren't huge pussies. And we need an AD/coach who looks the other way. You know any SEC coach/AD tells their big boosters "now don't go giving Cam Newton's dad $200,000 or anything *wink* *nudge* *backslap*" Our boosters write their checks to the AD and wait to see what the AD buys. Good boosters carry envelopes of cash at all times.
I think the best boosters are car dealers. I wish we had 30 of them in town

Great points, but you find the plausible deniability conduits. Look no further than down the road. The rich kid walk-on's who averaged 1.4 points in high school, the big boosters kid as the "video manager" who just happens to live in a place where a lot of athletes live, girlfriend money, the list is endless.

Yes, I forgot to mention those. We need a very rich walkon or 2 who live in HUGE houses and have a few new cars.

Should be our recruiting motto to. Bill needs to just make an list of like his top 10 recruits every year and "accidentally" drop it at some alumni meeting.
-
Problem is, we don't have Doug Compton alumni smart/dirty enough to pull it off.

We need to create a premium premium board where collections are held to pay recruits.
Not kidding.

The recruits could have all the "commodities" they could handle if the right persons were ask.

Wow, there's a lot to consider here, and I feel like we've got a lot of catching up to do. Maybe we should put together a plan with various phases, then execute.

The Vaniers all need to adopt kids or become hosts for them like the Zeck's did for Nino, but with really high recruits.
Also, TATE rough ridin' SNYDER!
Why doesn't tate have a dozen Hummers and like 3 or 4 lambos?
