Title: Mos Def force feeding video
Post by: michigancat on July 08, 2013, 11:26:06 AM
Did anyone watch it? I didn't because it liked like it would be gross. Why does our government so this to people?

Makes you wonder if they ever offered those prisoners a Hardee's "thickburger."  (You might know it as "Carl's Jr.")  Anyway, I bet no one turns those things down.

Its Mos getting a tube shoved up his nose and down his throat.  Doesn't look pleasant but not terrible or anything

you should be able to starve yourself to death if you want to (seems like a pretty awful way to kill yourself though)

It would solve the whole Guantanamo Bay thing.

Also the right to not be held as a prisoner indefinitely w/o being charged with a crime.

Well you see right now we're talking about something that's actually happening in real life.

That's how Alexander Supertramp died.  People love him now for some reason.

I forgot the police state doesn't start until the start forcing us to house Russian troops in our own homes. All the other crimes by the gov be damned!

It would solve the whole Guantanamo Bay thing.

I mean, can you imagine if we did this and then were all "well I guess that puzzle done puzzled it self?"

Or what if we said we'd close the base when Fidel died? What a gambit!

If they want to pull this hunger strike stuff and die, just let them do it and die. What do we care what detainees do? To be honest, if any of the current correction system residents want to do this, let them.

Saves us some taxpayer money also... :kstategrad:

The fact these prisoners are being held w/ no charges and are being force fed is pretty disturbing

You can't be liberal and like foie gras.

You can't be liberal and like foie gras.

When they banned it in California, it presented quite the pickle for liberal food snobs.

But they could hold some valuable intelligence.  Tasty nugget kind of stuff.  We're just trying to trade tasty nuggets here.

cannot stand vegitarians

I've never understood people who "cannot stand vegitarians". why does it matter to them if someone doesn't eat meat?

Did California ban Anthony Bourdain?  Because that's a man who loves his foie gras.

In fact, that's one of the things I probably like most about Anthony, he's a hearty meat eater, cannot stand vegitarians, doesn't particularly care for sweets, likes cold beer, isn't afraid to fire a gun at something, kill it and eat it etc. etc . . . and politically he's pretty left leaning.

Yes, California did in fact ban Anthony Bourdain.

I never had it before going to France this year. Personally, I think we should gitmo all animals.
