TITLETOWN - A Decade Long Celebration Of The Greatest Achievement In College Athletics History => Kansas State Basketball is hard => Topic started by: ksupamplemousse on June 25, 2013, 12:38:52 PM

No, not really, but for a couple extra bucks they volunteered six of their men's basketball games and a bunch of other crap that nobody cares about for ESPN3's lineup. All the t-shirt fans are going to be pissed when they turn on the tube and realize that the Hawks aren't on, and since they're poors then they won't even have an internet connection to turn to...sucks to suck.

Aren't you still able to watch the KU games on Metro Sports even though this ESPN3 thing is in place? However, this is probably meaningless as the T-shirt fans don't start deep v neck t-shirting till March.

Yeah, I read it wrong. If I had to watch a game on Metro Sports though, I'd probably just rather kill myself.

Yeah, that is something we can agree on. Suicide is clearly the winner over Metro Sports.

Seems like a pretty good deal for KU.

I think it is a great deal. More people will watch KU bball and more money for something you are already broadcasting. Win win really. Being as how I live in Iowa I may be able to watch more KU games and get my :tsc: on.

Yeah, I read it wrong to begin with, I thought you were giving up 6 bball games to ESPN3. I really do loathe Metro Sports, but if K-State were getting some cash to be on Metro and ESPN3 at the same time, then I would be cool with it.

it's actually a pretty terrible deal and will keep a lot of ku "fans" from watching their games.
i mean, unless the purpose all along was to put ku games into as few homes as possible then i guess it's a huge success????? :dunno:
