Title: Thread for making fun of the thread making fun of the chipotle challenge thread
Post by: DQ12 on May 23, 2013, 12:46:53 PM
What a bunch of nancies.  "Oooohhhhh Chipotle's so bad for you."  Give it a rest.  If you're not a complete fatass and eat relatively healthy in general, one week isn't going to make a difference.  Probably just mad because they know they don't have what it takes to compete and finish a challenge like this.

Have fun eating crappy leftovers during our weeklong celebration of KK and life.

Daris gained 5 lbs during last year's challenge.  Skipped working out while he was doing his google image search.

never in my entire life have i been so disappointed in a community of posters as i am today, right now.  i'm literally sitting here in amazement at the flippant nature some of you have taken towards the PCKK7DC and to be honest, i can't figure out why you've chosen to act this way.

it's all very puzzling to this poster but i can assure you that the PCKK7DC won't be detoured, it won't be intimidated, and most importantly it won't be drawn into a spiral of lies and deceit.

if we, as posters at gE.com, can't come together once a year to celebrate KAT KID, if we can't see past each other's differences while sharing a delicious burrito bowl together, for 1 week a year then i really have to question why this entire gE data bandwidth exists?

i ask each of you to spend a few minutes over the next week or so, as you consider your involvement in the PCKK7DC, to look internally and do an inventory check of your motives.  ask yourself why are you creating this labyrinth of hurdles between yourself and KAT KID, yourself and quite honestly, yourself...

if anyone wants to chat offline, just give me a call and we can discuss.  thanks fellas.

I just think the full frontal attack on KatKid going on in that thread is so disrespectful.

you really hate to see rick daris get so butthurt that everyone is paying attention to kat kid for a whole week instead of him. its just been one big townie battle for years and rick loses every year and the chipotle challenge week is just a whole week of kat kid hoisting the "everyones favorite townie" trophy above his head while rick daris cries in the bathroom.

would really improve morale around here if rick could just admit to being second best and be happy for kat kid. oh well... some people never grow up.

ps    at how rick was all like "peace bros im out of here" and then went back like 3 minutes later to check out the thread to see if anyone was like ohhhh noooo rick please come back!!  just another rick daris cry for attention.

For those that don't know, how does KK mix into this?  Is it like a charity or show of support for something?  Thanks I'll listen off air.

It's to honor KK.

Does it need to be anything else?

Count this poster as in.  While at lunch, I was pondering my existence.  I was reflecting on Martin Luther King, Jr's I have a dream speach while eating my stale peanut butter sandwich.  In my existential pondering, I was thinking: "is this all there is...two pieces of stale wheat bread with creamy PB mushed in between?"  Much like MLK, I have a dream.  It's a dream ladend with brown rice, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, salsa and barbacoa goodness wrapped inside a burrito of truth.  It's a dream deep in the American dream.

Count me in as a proud member of the PCKK7DC.  I feel my soul is better for having read this thread today.

Dream on.

Thanks raquetcat!  I've had a few hits and many misses.  I'm just a young bbs'er trying to learn the way from the wealth of talent here.
