jesus. that's a 747. guys on flyertalk guessing it either had a large cargo shift of it was just overloaded. the carrier has a pretty bad rep. for cutting corners.

luckily it was a cargo. if it was a people mover you're looking at over 300.

The flyer people are saying cargo shifting to the tail of the plane caused the plane to pitch up too high and stall out. Jesus I can't imagine that feeling.

very plausible. but it would be too soon for anyone to know anything for sure, unless people in the plane were able to communicate what was happening. which is a scary thought.
