Recruiting to Nacogdoches is kinda difficult (2.5 hrs from an airport :sdeek:) so it'll be interesting to see how he handles it.

We are the job that Underwood deserves, but not the one he needs right now. Hopefully he does well at SFA so he can resurrect this place after oscar kills us.

Man, the rats are really jumping from that South Carolinian ship.  Good luck, Frank.

Good.  Can't wait to see Frank's dumb tweets about this.

I wonder if he took this job if he was still an assistant here. It seems he could have gotten a job like this 3 years ago.

Darren Kent for assistant coach  ?!

Makes sense for DK....geographically he'd be closer to Porter's

Love how instead of saying "to" or "for", he uses numbers.

Story is that Brad wants to stay in the Big 12 footprint to make another run at the KSU job when Weber is fired

Awesome. This is pretty much best case scenario for us.

I like having Underwood hanging around as a back up plan.  He is loyal as hell.  Building some Texas connections is nice too

He helped talk Huggs into coming. From what I hear, he was open to the idea of staying even after Frank left and not just as head coach.

Erik Pastrana's Facebook Update:

Excited to be moving to the Division 1 level at Stephen F. Austin in Texas. Great opportunity and a great program with Coach Underwood. I had an amazing year at Northwest Florida working with 2 people I learned a great deal from in Steve Steven Forbes & Jason Shay . It was an incredible experience. Texas bound!

Good for him!
