FYI, Gray sucks.

Bump?

The Josh Gray-train left the station last year. oscar had the chance to bring him here, but chose to go with Orris instead.
No use crying over spilt milk. We'll just have to make do with a different freshman PG next year, with a freshman backing him up. And a freshman as the only true big man on the roster. And Will as a shooting guard.
Oh hell, go ahead and cry over the spilt milk afterall.

Pass on gray, pick orris, then chase off angel. How much more do ppl need to wait and see?

What else is there to see? Everything that was ever promising is gone.

Gray was rightfully pissed at us for passing on him. Doubt he would ever give Weber a second chance

Saying oscar chased off Angel is way too simplistic, but totally dismissing the head coaches role in a star players transfer is too.

Guys, it's complicated.

and your hyperbole has become too predictable. no one totally dismissed oscar's role in the process. but since we're talking about oscar's role in this situation, i'd be interested in hearing what your idea of his role is. this should be good considering how you've positioned yourself as an advocate of the student athlete, on this site.

Hyperbole? Interesting. You've positioned yourself as some voice of reason on this topic so if you feel oscar had some play in this I'm guessing you should have said so. You are so intent on wagging your finger at posters laying this totally at the feet of the coach that you have neglected to asses him any blame.
Apparently you missed when I said earlier when I mentioned this so I'll say it again. Angel very well may want to go closer to home because he's homesick. But all of this is rooted in some form of being unhappy with the situation he is currently in. Every other case of a player transferring a coach gets some percentage of the blame, this isn't new. I suppose I should have recognized what you are doing here, I'm not very good at recognizing it even someone does it in every single thread on this site.
