Title: A discussion we've been avoiding for far too long
Post by: Emo EMAW on March 30, 2013, 12:12:47 AM: Is Wichita State the best basketball team in Kansas? The evidence points to yes. Really makes sense KU why won't schedule them...they'd get their teeth kicked in, wouldn't even be close.

Pretty obvious the gauntlet that WSU faced prepared them well for the tourney. KU wasn't battle ready because the Big 12 just doesn't test them enough.

I can't argue that WSU definitely faced more LaSalle caliber teams on a day in/day out basis

I am not sure they are the best basketball program but they do have the second best D 1 Football team in the state!
