how long until he has the red raiders competing for conference titles?  also, what about the tubbs-tubbs connection they'll have going there?

Tubby wasn't horrible at Minnesota, but good for them they expected more. In 6 years he made 3 NCAAs and 2 NITs. He won a game in the tournament this year and they made the finals of the NIT last season. Again I have no issue with Minnesota firing him but they were progressing. When was the last time Tech won a tournament game or made the post season 5 out of 6 years?

If we hired someone with Tubby's profile after Wooly, I would have been okay with that. All this being said Walker earned the right to get this job.
