identify the enemy's strongest defensive position, then relentlessly attack it until your army is spent, your troops demoralized.

sharpen up those bayonets, boys, we're going over the top at dawn.  one good push with sharp steel should finally get those bloody machine guns in foul trouble.

I can picture oscar with a whistle in his mouth, and a dough boy helmet.

If at first you don't succeed, try and try again, and by try again I mean try the same exact thing again, especially if you're playing a game with a time limit.

When we beat really shitty teams in nonconference play by 5 points or less, all i heard on gopowercat was how good oscar was at in game adjustments.......

When we lose, its the refs or the talent.

I appreciate the new age thinking of goEMAW more and more every day.

Dear oscar

Try zone defense or a press when it actually has time left to matter. Hell it might not... but your man defense wasn't working either.

a different concept, and prolly too long, dnr.  but what the hell.

Quote
forward, the junkyard cats!
was there a man dismayed?
not tho' the team knew
someone had blundered:
theirs not to make reply,
theirs not to reason why,
theirs but to do and die:
into the lane of death
drove the emaw guards.

withey to right of them,
withey to left of them,
withey in front of them
swatted and thrown;
rejected with hand and elbow,
boldly they drove and well,
into the lane of death,
into the mouth of hell
drove the emaw guards.

throwing their layups high,
adjusting as they turned in air,
weaving through the defenders there,
charging a goliath, while
all the world wondered:
plunged among grasping hands
right through the line they broke;
guards and forwards
reeled from the artful drives
shattered and sundered.
then they backpedalled, but not
not having scored the ball.

withey to right of them,
withey to left of them,
withey in front of them
swatted and thrown;
rejected with hand and elbow,
while cutter and driver fell,
they that had drove so well
came through the lane of death
back from the mouth of hell,
all that was left of them,
left of the emaw guards.
