Seems like winning everything, all the time, could become a bit passé and tired after a while. They say you have to experience some lows to truly appreciate the highs and I can't imagine us having any lows any time soon.

At this point i think playing anyone in any sport would hurt the image of our program. Might be time to hang the 'ole sports hat up and focus on elite research, etc. After dominating that for a few years maybe we could come back and do some sports stuff for fun
-
Maybe play in professional leagues for awhile?

Truly a blessing and a curse. Basically like having the biggest dong in the world.

Hey guys do you remember what it's like to be a bunch of losery ol losers?
Ha, me either.

Sorry to take a metaphorical dump on this thread but to answer your question, we won't get tired of it. Currie's résumé is nearing completion, then he's off to the SEC and the side effects of a "safe hire" kick in. :flush:
Please tell me I'm full of crap. TIA
-
I wont be tired until everyone else gives up and quits and there's nobody left to destroy
-
Currie had a quote that basically said, "Maybe now perception will catch up with reality". I got confused because that quote from Currie made me love him.

Oh yeah. I've never considered Currie to be a lifer and know that he is using this job as a stepping stone. It was just nice to hear him come out with some verbal daggers instead of handing out a card with a bunch of numbers on it.

And a silver medal somehow involved.
