fantastic article.

I keep asking myself if there is a better fit (as crazy as that may sound) in all of America.  Frank is a hard working blue collar cat and that jives here, most K-State fans are hard working people who respect that ethos.

(I believe that is a large root of the Curry entitlement dig he threw at the pep.)

The guy knows the value of hard work and is extremely demanding, people here get that, most have lived it.  It might sound corny but that hullabaloo wouldn't fly at USC and his demeanor would be too unseemly at Duke.

i feel very  :powerespect: right now

p.s.   It pisses me off when all the fvcksticks who talked hullabaloo on Frank are all like "Well nobody saw this hullabaloo coming....  amirite or what. ha ha ha).   :chainsaw:

I saw this hullabaloo coming.  I a young lad growing up in rural KS watched a sh!tload of Cinci Basketball in the day (at the time i had huge sport crushes on Nick the Quick and Ruben much later Dermarr would make my heart go aflutter).  As a result of this i fell in love   with Huggie ball (make no mistake when ESPN puts up our style-of-play it says HUGGINS)  and that first year under Frank you saw that style, that attitude , that work ethic.  Not only did the team posses those intrinsic values (bless you LHC Bill Snyder) but also a strong nucleus of young talent (Jake, Luke, Dom, a redshirt Denis).

Truth be told, i would have felt that way had we hired the Doc, Sadler that is, (my glasses are rather purple tinted).  :weirdrobert:
However in this rare case my ratioinalization has proven accurate.  :drink:

810 radio did an interview with Martin around the Big 12 preseason hoopla, and it was telling that Martin said he was "pleased" at the progress of his team, and was described by the interviewer as "quietly confident".  It sure makes sense now.

Doyel's reaction to his worst enemy getting arrested has been a true joy to watch.  Twitter so read bottom to top if you care about the order he posted:

Mariotti, arrested, in a jail cell? Today is the day I started to believe in Karma.

But seriously, AOL Fanhouse. What the hell were YOU thinking? Mariotti isn't liked, isn't trusted, isn't respected. Otherwise, great hire.

Accused of beating up his girlfriend? I'll never look at Mariotti the same again. And I used to look at him as a dog turd. Now, he's looser.

People like to say that this writer, or that writer, is hated. Wrong. Some of us are disliked. Mariotti? Truly hated.

I think I've said enough about Mariotti. In closing, I will say this: Jay, PLEASE drop the soap in the shower
about 1 hour ago via TweetDeck
If Jay'd been working, he'd have the alibi of all those people who saw him in locker room, interviewing players. Oh, right. Never mind
about 1 hour ago via TweetDeck
Look, there's nothing funny about domestic abuse. Except for when Mariotti is accused. And then it's absolutely hilarious.

Hell, I might just get myself arrested in L.A. so I can share a cell with sweet lil' Jay. But then, I'd have to take a number. He's so cute!

Where's the rest of the story? That, after (allegedly) hitting his girlfriend, that she then kicked Mariotti's ass for 45 minutes?
about 1 hour ago via TweetDeck
Oh to be a fly on the wall in Ozzie Guillen's house ... or to be at Guillen's pregame media briefing later today in Kansas City
about 1 hour ago via TweetDeck
Mariotti accused of hitting his girlfriend? I can't believe it. Mariotti has a girlfriend??!?!

Only a coward hits a woman. So you can't possibly believe Mariotti would hit a woman unless you believe he's a coward. Oh, wait ...
