TCU has ONE lone conference victory. Who did they beat ?
-
It's also the answer to the question, "who has the worst rpi loss of any team in the conference?"
-
Damn, Tech let them hang around enough that the double digit loss stat is gone now.
-
Who is the only Big 12 team to finish >275 in kenpom's ratings?
-
Who is the loser school that made "Beware of the Phrog" shirts and sold them on their campus after said loser school wasn't good enough to beat KU?
-
Jesus, beems is hostile today. That McGruder 3 is haunting him.
-
Yeah, this TCU hoops trivia thread and McGruds clutch shot(that didn't bank) has him all irritated.
-
HEY GUYS I'M GOING TO GO CELEBRATE ANOTHER TEAM'S VICTORY BECAUSE MY OWN TEAM WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH TO BEAT KU! WOOT!

Says the guy on the other team's.......wait.....no, just no.......
-
The only reason that KU isn't already celebrating an outright is a loss to the worst Big 12 team ever; a team that hasn't been close in another league game. I'd be ticked too.

The only reason K-State isn't already celebrating an outright is because your team got swept by KU on its way to 3-46. I'd be living vicariously through TCU too if I were you.

That doesn't even make any sense. KU swept K-State.

Of course, I'm enjoying TCU's win much more because it is a reason we can share a title.
But if I was a KU fan, I'd be more ticked if the only thing costing my team the outright was the worst college basketball upset since Ralph Sampson. That's much worse than getting beat twice by a Top 5 team.

Penn State just beat Michigan so it's not like KU was the only team to get upset this year. Trent Johnson is actually a really good coach, and TCU caught KU on an off night. It happens. As a KU fan, the only time I'm ticked is when we're not playing up to our full potential, and right now KU is peaking so everything's gravy. I don't see K-State winning in Stillwater so this is all going to be moot in about a week.

PSU is 164 in KenPom and TCU is 283. Its not even close to the same. KU did play historically bad that day. TCU also played historically good (which is still pretty bad)

Guess its a matter of perspective. I'd offer that the ku+3@isu is the other glaring reason we aren't sitting alone at the top right now

Penn State is ranked between 75-100 spots ahead of TCU in most computer rankings and would be favored over the Phrogs by 8-10 points on a neutral court.
Let that sink in for a minute.

Its like I can smell your keyboard shorting out as the globs of froth drip from your mouth as you type this.

The odds are not real high.... but can you imagine if we beat Ok St and then KU did lose to Baylor.
Beems and the phoggies butthurt level would be in maximum overdrive

HEY GUYS I'M GOING TO GO CELEBRATE ANOTHER TEAM'S VICTORY BECAUSE MY OWN TEAM WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH TO BEAT KU! WOOT!
Sounds about right. Just wait til ISU doesn't make the tournament. #BitterHavs will reach new, uncharted territory.
