knowing drew would give us the ball back and we could make him look stupid and rip out the hearts of their team and fans? weber has a nazi past, and nazis are known to be cruel, so i think it's a question that's at least worth asking.
-
What do you hate more sys, nazis or drew?
-
Please tell me you guys saw Irving I think it was stretch his arms out at the student section before the ball was even in the basket. Fist pumped at least 17 times, hard ones.

nazis invented curb stomping, so you very well could be right

I hope there was a camera on Drew for that final possession.

More evidence that this was the real play all along. How else would Tay have know to celebrate before it was even in the cup? This was obviously practiced multiple times.

Oddly, in the first play, Rod came off a screen and was wide f'ng open and didn't even look for the ball, he was just looking to set a screen.

I listened to oscar for a little bit talk about the play. It was a read. They drew it up in Brazil. Rodney saw the defender favor Gipson, so he dropped back to the 3 line, and Gipson read the same thing and set the screen (albeit moving) for him. Pretty great bruceketballing.

"Plays" are for rubes. Bruceketball motions it up.

Drew's defense on the last play was interesting. They didn't even consider the possibility of popping out for a 3 and only defended the baseline/rim.
Their zone was pretty much Drew's traditional 2-3 stretched to defend the baseline, but they only put one guy (Austin) high and kept 4 low after K-State initiated movement. As a result, they had no one to account for the ball side wing once Gip screened/posted the low defender in the corner. There was no doubt Rod would be open if he popped to the wing as long as he read the defense right, and he did. Jackson stayed on the playside block, even though he had Jefferson to help protect the rim. The action of Shane and Tay on the weakside occupied Austin and Walton.

Yep. Was infuriating until the last play.
