Is there anything more amazing than cheesecake?  The answer is no.  Just had my third piece for the day.

exactly swift, it's like delicious cake but made of nutritious cheese. astronauts take it to the space station to rough ridin' chow 24/7 and get ripped.

I don't eat sweets, but when I do, it's cheesecake at the cheesecake factory. I get the splenda low carb one and add the strawberries on top.

Cheese cake is so good but is it truly a cake?  I'm leaning more towards pie idk.

One of my good friend/former roommate's dad is a professional chef who runs a small catering company.  Whenever my buddy would go home for the weekend to visit, he would always return with a bunch of really great food for all of us.  When he came back with his dad's homemade cheesecake...oh man :excited:  :lick:.  It was absolutely incredible.  In comparison, it made Cheesecake Factory cheesecake taste like dogshit, and I like that stuff.

I love cheesecake as much as you do, but the Law of Diminishing Returns had to apply here.  First piece was orgasmically tasty so you just had to have another piece.  I bet it wasn't quite as good as the first piece so you had yet another piece just to make sure.  You're chasing the dragon at this point.  T's and P's.

Cheesecake is a combination of Optimus Prime and Boobs (two of my favorites).  Now that you are a day removed from this 3 piece binge...I'm curious if you literally crap a brick?

I may need to get some pointers from you.  Just starting this process, but I plan to have it perfected within a few weeks.

it's really not too difficult, you'll have no problem having it perfected quickly...  a springform pan is a must, i also bake it in a water bath.

let me know what problems you're having

i know but here's the thing, i won't mess with leftovers that are past 2 days.  a 10 inch cheesecake, just too much for ol' clams.

So far I have just used pre-made crusts, knowing that it isn't the best, but wanting to cut time while I experiment a bit.  Going to buy a springform pan and will try the water.  What do you use for your crust?  Also, thoughts on ricotta in place of cream cheese?

i hate ricotta, so i'd prob rather just eat razor blades rather than use it.

crust is super easy- my favorite is to take oreos and mash them up and mix in a couple tablespoons of butter then mash it down into the bottom and corners/sides of the pan.  so great.

you can sub about anything for the oreo and it will work the same- graham crackers, chips ahoy, etc

cant emphasize how important the springform pan is though.

You have to make sure and get enough butter in it though so it stays somewhat moist.  That is the best.  Flavored Teddy Grahams are also quite nice for a change of pace in your crust.  You can also put some chocolate chips in the food processor and incorporate them into the crust as well.  Not a lot, just a few for flavor.

The Schwann's man was awesome as a kid.  He would come around and I knew that little mini pizzas were going to be in my freezer to chow down on.  Glorious.

One time I ate so much cookie dough and then (obviously) washed it down with a ton of milk.  The cookie dough started expanding with the milk and I seriously though my stomach was going to explode.  I had to lay down for an hour or so.  It was excruciating pain.  Still worth it.
