Feds investigating ku comp tickets.
The concern now for ku folks . . . were there any players involved with their comp'd tickets??

nothing to see here...move along.

Consprpiracy theory in 5...4...3...2...1
-
Trace that money back to the players and somebody could be winning a Pulitzer.
-
"The university has launched an internal investigation, sources said."
No prob...taken care of.
BTW, would love if this leads back to SamanthaRyRy and somehow gets real dirty.

Seems odd that one of the Morris kids wrote that article up for the Star.
Must admit, it was surprisingly lucid.

Not a surprise, and the timing totally expected. Sometime this week, Cole Aldrich is going to be in Bill Self's office talking about the NBA, and the phrase "if you are still on campus, we might be able to keep you and your parents out of this investigation" is going to be spoken.

Skimming ticket revenue via unauthorized channels by ku employees has been going on a very long time, the only surprise is how long it took for it to get noticed. Rumor is that Perkins began looking into it shortly after he took the AD job, which makes me wonder:
1. Did he give up the hunt?
2. Is what he found so damaging that the solution would be worse than the problem?
3. Did Perkins find a deal he could not turn down?

JFC. Thank god we go by the rules.

First thing I wondered was how long had they been sitting on this story? Anyone think this would have come out if they were still in the tournament?

You said nothing happened. You also said ku's second team could beat KSU. My point being, you are wrong far more than you are right.

FBI for an individual financial issue? IRS, yes, but FBI? Maybe the Jones guy is funneling $$ to terrorists.
-
the fact that this involves the williams fund and its tax exempt status is pretty key. could take down a lot of people in that sleaze hole. imagine what would happen to donations if the irs pulled their tax exempt status lol.

Speaking of terrorists, remember when #1 overall seed uk lost to the 3 pt shooting "little terrorist"? That was great.
