story on BBC radio yesterday about how going bald is a very good indicator of early onset heart problems. not as good an indicator as being like 500 lbs or chowing on gravy boats every meal but all else equal.

Those who are balding are also at an increased risk for elevated frequencies of viral infections (such as colds/flu).  It has to do with the concept of an increased Allostatic Load (more info here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allostatic_load). 

Short answer, Drew's bald/stress of sucking is impacting his health.
