Because...it's apparent that this might be the only way we will ever not get run out of the effing gym by KU at least once per year. Holy effing balls. This is a pretty crap KU team too (marginally more talented than our team, but still). 39 rebounds to 20 late in the 4th? OMFG. That's "won't to", as Deputy Dawg would say, bros. How do KU players get up for this game more than ours do? Eff.
My only other idea is to have our dudes drink something that makes their piss more viscous so that, when it runs down their legs just after tipoff, it runs really slowly and won't make them slip and fall.
Effing embarrassing. Not sure that it's healthy for any of us to be emotionally invested in this. In fact, I'm pretty sure that it's not. Seriously contemplating a multi-year KSU hoops fan hiatus.

We're in 1st place!!! :ksu:

Boy the tucks really get riled over losing to KU, maybe there is hope to get rid of weber yet.

"marginally more talented than us"

I don't think we'll ever win there again.

I don't think we'll ever win there again.
Naw, they have blown their load. I bet we get at least 7 in the next 20.

I like how the try to be too-cool crowd say only tucks hate losing to KU when we all know we all hate it.

I think I was about 8 or so when I realized that not everyone thinks the same way that I do. Maybe you'll get there one day too?

I think it's obvious that some people really rough ridin' hate losing to KU here on gE, but most are able to not act like a total dipshit respect after the game (not saying you are Emawz). We got beat by a good team who've had their dicks knocked in the dirt for three games in a row, which never rough ridin' happens, and they got to play at home after being on the road for a week. What happened tonight was not out of the realm of possibility, and it doesn't make us a bad basketball team. We ran into a buzzsaw, and instead of waiting for them to come down from their cloud, we panicked. It happens to good basketball teams sometimes. We still have a decent chance of winning the conference, something we haven't sniffed in along time.

Yeah I suppose that sounds great and all but I guess it's bad form for fans to be a little down because their team crap their pants for the 6th year in a row at that place. Oh well, what's a first place in the conference team supposed to expect? Getting monkeyspanked by 20+ while looking like total clowns against a team on 3 game skid is nothing to get bent out of shape over. At least we have __moral victory__ and we aren't tucks (gasp).

Still in first place

Between Doug Compton, shady recruiting, and the cesspool that is Lawrence, Kansas, there is plenty of garbage to kick over. But, you know, I'm jealous that KU has it all down pat. Has K-State hired the retiring chief of RCPD? Hell, no, but Lew hired the retiring chief of Lawrence PD so that he would know what was going on before the District Attorney did. We are simply amateurs, and good PI's turning over all the garbage in the world in Lawrence won't change that.
