Just want internet.
What is the best way of going about getting a new one that is cheap and the way that I want it.
Have never done this before.

My little bro just bought an EEE. It is a smaller machine(something like a 12" screen and only slightly thicker than a blackberry), and was only like $280. He uses it for geo mapping(work, yawn) so he uses some pretty big mem requir'mt progs and hasn't had any issue with slow down.
I bought a dell about 5 yrs ago. Cheap, but if you only use it for internet, it does everything you would want. Dell was about $500, but I got the 15" screen, where the EEE is only like 12".

yeah, looked into dell, probably what I'll end up doing.
-
My only complaint about Dell is that they vent from the bottom. Makes your legs really hot if you use it for a long time.
Don't know if all other lap tops do this or not.
Still worth it though because of cheapness.

check out the dell outlet. Usually just cancelled orders. Products are good and prices are low. Otherwise, just go get a cheapie from bestbuy.

Also interested in where the outlet is. I would like a new monitor for my work PC.

I know it looks like a scam, but I used this website last year to get a free $2400 washer/dryer. I skimmed through the rules and it looks the same as when I did it.
