We up by 1 at the half, but not pleased at all by this. Some sloppy play.
I want to see more Gip. He played well. JO as usual cant catch a ball unless you hit in the mouth with the ball.

Agreed, looking a lot better right now. Sandstorm!

cleaned the tos up in the 2nd and pulled ahead. jhr v. gip is a false choice. just get rid of johnson's minutes.

Yes, only 4 TOs to 10 for them in 2nd half. We attacked the glass too hard in 2nd half.

The stretch of multiple attempts to get JO the ball that resulted in TOs was the beginning of letting ISU back into the game. Then when Gip picked up his 2nd foul, they went on a ridiculous run before the Cats settled down. Fortunately for us both teams turned it over 1/3 of the time in the half.

On Jordan Henriquez not playing much…
“(Thomas Gibson) had a good matchup because they were really forwards (and not more like centers) when you looked at it. They were 6’7 and they were mobile. Jordan is better when he is playing against bigger guys, so when Gibson got in foul trouble, we were going good in the first half until his second foul, I am not sure about that foul but he got it. We have to deal with it. We had to give Jordan another look, and then we went with D.J. Williams. He didn’t play as well as he did last time, and all those guys coming off the bench like Omari Lawrence to spot Rodney McGruder for a few minutes. Those are all big plays and we are going to need them, the fact that we survived foul trouble through the last few games and our bench really stuck in there with us.”
