Title: Prince
Post by: steve dave on February 09, 2013, 03:15:02 PM
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights got through Signing Day with vacancies at both coordinator positions. Do not expect those vacancies to last much longer.

"Rutgers coach Kyle Flood is leaning toward promoting from within to replace defensive coordinator Robb Smith -- who left today to become the linebackers coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- and is zeroing in on former Kansas State head coach Ron Prince as his new offensive coordinator, according to someone familiar with the potential coaching staff changes," writes Tom Luicci of the New Jersey Star-Ledger.

"Linebackers coach Dave Cohen would become the new defensive coordinator, with graduate assistant Anthony Campanile being promoted to secondary coach (Smith also oversaw the secondary) if Flood follows through on his current plans," Luicci added.

If that doesn't work out, the Alabama O-line coaching position is open.

GoPowercat.com has learned that Rutgers OC Ron Prince has been hired to replace LHC Bill Snyder after a dismal 2-10 showing in the 14-15 season.

Oh man.  Ron is going to totally own Jersey.

Twenty bucks he opens a strip club somewhere outside of Piscataway as a front for an illegal gambling ring.

I always felt like Ron missed the boat by not coming out with his own signature line of "Bold and Daring" Barbecue Sauce.  He could have made a killing.  Not that he didn't anyway.

Winning, just not at football games.

Who the hell would hire him.  He single handedly got Peyton hurt because of his shitty OL coaching ability.  Jacksonville is terrible.  What makes them think he will help anyone?  And yes I am putting peyton getting hurt on him and not years of football.
