pretty much based entirely on Frank martin's stare and overall wonderfullness
Sweet 16
Kansas State vs. Xavier:
The computer liked the Cats -- but it might have just lost a staring contest with Frank Martin. Intimidation!
Elite 8
KSU vs. Syracuse:
Surprise! Kansas State wins, based on a close but clear 57 percent win percentage on the simulator.
Final 4
Kansas State vs. Ohio State:
Two models favor K-State, one the Bucks, one's a pick 'em. Thus, Turner hits a running 40-footer from midcourt with .000001 seconds left. Frank Martin gives the official one look, and he knows to rule it null and void. Manhattan burns (and wins).
National Championship
Kansas State vs. Duke:
In the final, Duke actually has a relatively huge simulator edge of 73-27, which is hard to ignore even though the historical seed edge goes to Kansas State. Oddly, the one thing that can't be ignored: Kansas State dominates this matchup in terms of away/neutral site performance -- probably because of the degree to which the respectful Cameron cheering motivates the home side in a manner that can't be replicated elsewhere.
Still, the sim calls it Duke by a nose.
Just don't tell Frank, Mr. Bracket Predictor. If you thought Michael Bolton was bad. Well, I'm not even ready to think about it.

K-State - Duke just seems like a probability, making the CBE tournament a rematch of last years national title game and a huge ratings boost for ESPN.

The Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) with the perfect bracket (so far) (http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/Autistic-Teen-Picks-First-Two-NCAA-Rounds-Perfectly-88916437.html) picks the 'Cats to the championship game as well. He doesn't like the Dukies though ....
