They did come off as pretty selfish in that article talkiing about the Iowa State game like it was this great success. Never mind that KSU lost the freaking game. I don't really get the mindset either because Will is obviously not going to the NBA. All he should care about is doing whatever he can to help KSU win games. Oh I agree that the "Will is better because he is happy" story is incredibly played and like Will himself is low hanging fruit. I'm just saying that I don't fault Kellis or any other journalist for taking the easy road when it's going to generate so much discussion. I mean K-State and KU fans eat this crap up. Has Matt Doherty had anything close to the attention that he got when he did Shannon's bidding for him? It's crap journalism but it's what people want and big mouth helicopter dad is more than willing to speak into a tape recorder anytime.
