Yeah, no way Kansas City shows Kentucky over K-State.

Kinda torn on this. Been thinking about hitting up this alleged K-State bar in downtown DC. But I also have the DirecTV package will all the games in HD at home, plus I'm always worried that said K-State bar will be full of GPCers.

yeah, I'm kind of torn.  Do I buy MMOD?  Don't really want to.  (Because I'm cheap)

should I get super-fast internet for the month and watch MMOD?

Go to a bar?

don't watch MMOD on computer...imagine the cpu fed fistpumps?  have enough memory?  ram?  hard drive? data? printer?

ya, you might want to sit down with hemmy for a "cpu review" b4 going that route, holmes.

I got MMMHD or whatever by threatening to cancel over the Versus issue. It's pretty great, and would actually have been worth the $70 or whatever it cost. Not sure know though, since the first two rounds are over. It depends on whether they'd pro-rate it.

I don't know.  Last year Directv called me on the Saturday of the first weekend to ask if I wanted to order MMOD for 70.  I was like I already missed two and half days, why would I pay 70 now?  "there's still plenty of basketball left, sir"...yea, no thanks.

How reliable is it during high traffic times, though? I'd be terrified the game would cut out or something.

MMOD is free and you get what pay for.  quality stinks but maybe I wasn't getting great bandwidth at the time i was using it.

if you can get the directv package pro rated do it!  i've had it since the beginning only using the laptop if a 4th game was on.  quality over the intrawebs was not good.

The first round game was not great quality, but the BYU game was nearly perfect in HQ mode. I don't get the Cats game again  tomorrow (UK v Cornell) so I will be back on MMOD.  :blank:

For fans that are not in a KSU market, some CBS affiliates will be broadcasting the other games on a subchannel.  For example. KCTV in KC is 5-1 for over the air (antenna, rabbit ears, etc) for the main game like KSU v XU and on 5-2 will get the second game Kentucky v Cornell.  The subchannel game will most likely not be in HD.

If you have cable, the same thing is possible if both your local affiliate broadcasts the subchannel and the cable co then also adds it.  If you have a digital cable box, it should show up in your guide, if you do not have digital cable but still have cable (internet only, etc) you can still get the sub channel using the QAM tuner built into most HD tvs.

FWIW, this is a free option to watching on a computer or going to a bar
