Title: This is Brucie's mentality
Post by: jasn88cubs on January 24, 2013, 08:43:45 AM
"Right now [Kansas is] 5-0, but you've got a bunch of people who are 4-1 right behind them," Weber said. "I think this league has great balance. I just hope we can compete to be in the upper echelon of teams."

"We've played some good teams and we've competed with them," Weber said. "We're a good team now. Are we going to stay here or are we going to get better? Are we going to move forward, stay stagnant or go backward?"

"If you see a game in the 50's, you may think you can find a chance at victory," Kansas State's oscar Weber said.

ooooffff...thank gosh the mentality is gone from Illinois

Looks like brucie didn't see Kansas St winning

Well, good for Illinois that Groce is a real coach and has the program going in the right direction.

Is this where I should bump the thread when about this time last year I talked about how the Illinois job is overrated and half of the board freaked out on me?

Did you miss where we've lost five of our last eight games, several of which we were rough ridin' blown out?  Blame oscar if you like for leaving a group of quitter pussies, but until Groce proves he's a rough ridin' winner shut the eff up.  rough ridin' clown.

Don't take it too far WW.  Henson won, Kruger won, Self won and even oscar rough ridin' won big at Illinois.  Then oscar tanked the program and got canned for it.  Groce may or may not work out, but right now he's dealing with the same group of pussies that got Weber fired minus a lottery pick.  The program is better than what Weber turned it into.

Good point. gE posters generally do a good job staying in the middle on most topics.

If I see you in the middle sd I'm going to treat you to a free hug from a friend just because.  Not too long, not too short.  The perfect hug.  What's that comforting pressure enveloping you sd?  Just the arms of a friend.

I don't hate oscar. I don't think it's possible to hate oscar. I do think that this is the best season we will have  under him and that we are on track for a slow painful death march back to basketball irrelevance.
