OU uses Oboarding to make it close. Cats use the 3 point line and forcing TOs. K-State did a great job of making OU uncomfortable getting started in their offense and its a good thing. When OU was able to run offense they were effective, fortunately K-State limited that most of the game.
And finally we see the Will and Angel K-State needs to contend for this league. We need to see it again Tuesday night as the Cats have a shot of taking possession of first place in the Big 12.
How fun would that be?

IT WOULD BE FUN, _FAN :excited:

New name for the board

I wonder when the last time we won with such a huge rebounding disparity was.
-
How about Diaz coming to play there for a little??
-
I liked our defense for the first 31-32 minutes. We were up 51-37 and OUs stats were =
47.3 eFG%
34.8 TO%
.80 ppp
And OU had made 1 lousy FT
got good contributions from 4 of the 5 starters and i thought JO did a nice job of playing Def today
After only getting 7 pts in the first 7 minutes, we turned up the volume a bit=
58.8 eFg%
47.4 3pt5
1.24 ppp
-
We were significantly better at not fouling today, most notably JO. I understand that WVU's offense is created to get to the FT line, but we just looked better in general.
-
How about Diaz coming to play there for a little??
He had a nice dunk the possession after his guy got a tip in dunk on him. Other than that, meh.

I mean, after the last few weeks I truly believe we can beat KU Tuesday and take over first place in the Big 12. Really didn't believe I would be saying that back in mid-December.
-
How fun would that be?
It would be pretty effing fun.
-
I don't think KU is going to throw the ball out of bounds on a third of their possessions like OU did though. We are in trouble if we OBoard like that on Tuesday

Probably not, but did you watch KU's guards vs UT?

They never have games like that against us.

Yes, anyone who's watched KU this season should know that they aren't anywhere as good as their ranking. They're guards can barely dribble and they aren't really much of a threat to score in the post.
If we clean up the glass and keep them off the FT line (they shoot FT's like an IVY league team) we'll win, and probably win comfortably.
This will be by far and away their most difficult game to date. And if you aren't reading between the lines here, Michigan State and Ohio State are not good teams.
