The soft drinks thread got me thinking, what is your go to drink for different meals?
When it comes to breakfast I LOVE to just go crazy with 3 different drinks. I will have a strong cup of coffee with a splash of milk, a nice big glass of cold milk and if I have some OJ in the fridge I will have a glass of that as well.
I'm not a big cola fan but I make sure to always order an Ice Cold Coca Cola at the following places.
-Chipolte....NOTHING takes the burn away like the crisp taste of coca cola
-McDonalds...Really good coca cola here!
-Sonic...No route 44, a large will do for me.
-Winsteads...There is something magical about a single windstead with cheese onions mustard pickles and lettuce paired with a coca cola.
When it comes to dinner I am strictly a beer guy. I usually get about 1 down and reach that perfect "I can just start to feel the alcohol making me warm and happy" phase before the food arrives.
What about you?

I generally prefer to just have a water. Sometimes I will have an iced tea. If it's Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, and I'm eating dinner, I will have an ice cold beer (whatever the best beer on tap is).

I love margaritas with Mexican Food.

I love margaritas in general, but if I'm eating Mexican food, I prefer to wash it down with a cerveza.

Iced tea or milk are my "go-to" non-alcoholic drinks. I'd never order milk when I'm out at a restaurant or something, but drink it with most meals at home.
-
dinner - beer
lunch - iced tea
breakfast - oj, iced tea, coffee, milk, bloody mary
all other times - water, coffee, iced tea

I like coffee or OJ in the mornings. If I don't have anything going that day I'll just have some OJ so I keep my mellow going. Love sleepy cuddling & watching Bob the Builder with my kids Saturday mornings (when I have time).
I haven't found a better dinner combo than a medium rare rib-eye and Wellers&Coke.

This is a pretty elite move. How do I know it's elite? Because I do it. Order a beer or two before dinner, and the food tastes extra good. Like, at least 5x as good. But besides that I only drink water and a couple cups of coffee a day.

A glass of warm gin and a bowl of chili.

Holy crap I hope this is true.

Milk is standard fare at home, but I agree that drinking it in a restaurant doesn't feel right. Don't know why it doesn't, but it doesn't. :dunno:

Because you're not 6 years old (I hope :ohno:).

I didn't drink milk in public when I was 6, either. I was a very mature 6.

Milk is gross.
