Obviously fantasizing about spending time with the babes on the WVa reality show. I can see Huggs doing a bellybuster into the dump truck pool.

The audio from the presser is pretty sobering.  Dude just sounds worn out.  Like, end of a week long bender workout.  KSU must be the college equivalent of Neo cause we dodged two bullets with Huggs and Frank.

WVU currently shooting 25% against texas.  I don't even want to know how bad that looks.  I thought the UMKC game was one of the worst I've seen and we shot 32% in that game.

Well, I would like to think UT is at least a big better than UMKC.  Also, why did the radio announcers keep calling them Kansas City during our game?  Are they looking to rebrand themselves?

Bout 8 hours of ESPN programming between last night and tonight for the league to showcase a suspended coach, shitty end of game coaching, an inability to shoot baskets, and a team that needs to quit playing basketball altogether.

Huggy troops were 4-25 (1-10 from 3) to end the OU game on Saturday

They actually started 11-44 (0-13 from 3) to start the Texas game

That's a rough 50 minutes of BB (15-69Fg, 1-23 3pt)....... but they hit some shot down the stretch and stole one in Austin

Looks sober, but with thoughts of jumping off the wagon and blowing it up with a rocket launcher, as he stares at the guy nursing a whiskey and water in the back row.

Prob the first time Ive ever agreed with Kim.  You know WVU has talent, they just can't shoot the ball for crap.  Reminds me of severl Frank coached teams, early in the season

Its pretty amazing that UT can have 6 Top 100 HS players (2 Top 50) and be this bad offensively. Shooting 44% on the year with an efficiency of .95 PPP is terrible for that kind of talent. I know losing Kabongo hurt, but man.

The Big 12 in general has some pretty terrible shooting (eFG%) teams; WV at 43%, UT at 44%, TCU at 45.4%, K-State at 45.7%, and OU at 46.5% (NCAA ave is 48.3%). OU and us (and WVU to an extent) make up for it by oboarding and not turning it over to have decent inefficiency numbers on offense.

Barnes does have his team playing defense, holding teams to .85 PPP and a ridiculous 36.8% eFG%.

Our game at WVU Saturday looks like a "first to 60" type of game and it looks like there could be quite a few of those this year in the Big 12.

Angel/Will/Tay have to hit some shots. If they go 1-15 again we'll lose by 10 (which will seem like losing by 20 against WVU because it will be 58-48).

You cannot be serious.
He's the best coach we've had at KSU in the last 20 years.  Absolutely turned this program around when it was pretty damn dead.  Brought in the #1 recruit.  Blessings upon Bob!

1.  Huggins
2a. Kruger
2b. Martin
4. Weber (could move up or down!)
5. Altman
... those other two guys ...

Bob is going to ugly the crap out of our game.  Angel will have to be the exact opposite of what he was in the OSU game to stay in the game and not foul out.  Have to have guards score.  Have to.

Honestly, worried about this one.

I agree.  And I also think he's a really good coach.  Just sayin he isn't a H.O.F. coach.  Probably an irrelevant distinction, but a fact nonetheless.

Guys liks Bobby Knight, Boeheim, Roy Williams, Calipari, Self, Izzo, Coach K are in the H.O.F.  Guys like Huggins and Rick Barnes are not.  Really, the only difference between Barnes and Huggins is 170 wins.  But, Huggs has been coaching about 8 years longer.

Bob's win total is very high.  I can't remember where he ranks now, but it is up there.  I would bet he makes the HOF.  He has had a fantastic career.  The NCAA BB NC is probably the hardest to win in all of college sports.  Discounting a coaches ability simply due to that is crazy.

Bob Huggins will absolutely be in the Hall of Fame.

Dude has like 700 wins and will finish with over 900 by the time he hangs it up in 10 years or so.

21 combined conference and tournament titles.  The NCAA Tournament 14 of the last 15 years.  An average 23 wins a season over his career.  Hell, his personal coaching history is nearly on par with our entire basketball history.

FB is more about opportunity given pollster votes and stuff.  the NCAA, all you have to do is make the tourney then it is up to your team to go take it with multiple games in short turns.

Kabongo is ridiculously overrated.

I'll take it a step further, I don't think he's a good basketball player.  He's being used as an excuse for UT being overrated again.  I can't wait until they come back and UT continues to blow.  I really like Rick Barnes but he doesn't evaluate players at all, he just targets whatever top 100 recruit he can find regardless of whether they fit or if the recruiting services over-value the players.

For all the BS both UT coaches get for doing "less with more" (while being the most sucessfull coaches ever at the school), it really does appear Barnes has kind of mailed it in on the recruiting trail.

I do believe Drew is as dirty as it gets but Barnes should be embarrassed the way he is getting owned for instate recruits.

He recruits well enough to finish in the top four of the conference most years.  He did very well until the last 5 years and it's been a steady backslide for them.  That team last year was not a tournament team, They may not have made it if the field weren't expanded.
