An absolute rough ridin' travesty.
-
Two ACC teams above any big 12 team, I guess logic wins. :dunno:
-
Show me someone that watched last night's football game and still believes that Notre Dame is the 4th best team in the country, and I'll show you the person that I am going to serve a piping hot platter of roundhouse kick to the face
-
who gives f's?
-
It's settled. 1998 wins.
-
we were overrated all season. pretty lucky to even be in the top 15, considering how we crap the bed twice this year.
-
kick the crap out of florida in the sugar bowl and you're barely top 15
-
Final rankings are absolutely meaningless.
Being Big 12 Champion is infinitely more important.
-
yeah, got a dr. pep, all good
-
Didn't finish top 10 in either poll... :dubious:

You don't deserve top 10 when you lose 2 of your last 3.

You don't deserve top 10 when you lose 2 of your last 3.
Especially not when it says "K-State" on your jersey. Now if it said "OU," you'd be deserving of #3 in both polls.

Louisville butt slams UF, ends with the same record, and UF finishes higher.
-
we will NEVER have anything nice
EVER :horrorsurprise:

Nice is relative. I mean, a whole lot of GPC ppl think the Konza is worth discussing when other schools talk about mountains and beaches.

What the hell do you call the Doctor Pepper?

Gonna go over to the phog and catch some of the big celebration.
Grats #phog!!

What the hell do you call the Doctor Pepper?
A co-championship. :frown:
Rankings at the end of the season absolutely matter, btw. That crap carries over into pre-season rankings next year, which, while bullshit, shapes things.

We wouldn't be ranked preseason if we had just won the national championship.

Good point. I think even if we'd curbstomped Oregon we would open up 20-25 next year. Anyone that has been a KSU fan long enough knows how we walk on eggshells when it comes to rankings.

Nope. Sorry. End of the season rankings don't matter at all.
-
Well we didn't finish 6th in the league so we have that going for us.

Apparently playing a program like Oregon does hurt our national brand.

We've been ranked really high to start several seasons. What are you morons even talking about?

Nobody is going to rank Kansas State after losing Klein and 10 defensive starters, nor should they.
-
I think it's sad that we can't add to our "Finished in the top 10 __ seasons" banner. :frown:

Oh yes we can! Finished in top 10 will just now refer to regular season top ten. Which means 2011 will be on the banner as well (#8)

Given the lack of publicity our team gets I doubt any of the national voters even know who is on our roster at any given time.
They are just like LOL wow KANSAS STATE IS WINNING FOOTBALL GAMES??? Then when we lose they are like LOL look at KANSAS STATE lmao, are they a BCS school?
