I had a crazy thought yesterday. Suppose our loss to Baylor was a conspiracy. :) Suppose we got paid off, a lucrative amount, including a few promise recruits, to flop against Baylor?
I know, this surpasses Snyder's and Klein's integrity but I felt horrible watching Notre Dame do what we should have done. The common denominator was winning on an opposing teams field w/ very high stakes for a trip to the NC, assuming we beat Texas. I know USC is USC and Baylor played lights out. I suppose I'm still not over the opportunity we missed and wished we could have "shook up the world" as the great Ali shouted after knocking out Liston. :)

You feeling alright?
I tried to warn you about that burrito this morning.
-
I agree with trim.

I would not be surprised at all if some cat players were paid to take a dive. With all of the money swirling around these games and the players just getting a small chunk via a scholly, why wouldn't they cash in when they had the opportunity?
K-Staters are renowned businessmen if nothing else.

Arnold Rothstein lives!!! :horrorsurprise:

Whatever Roll Tide crush ND and Lou

LOL. Alabama has absolutely no chance against Notre Dame. They are at best the 4th best team in the country.
-
I think UGA is going to play ND.
Anyway, it does hurt.

I was confused for a sentence or two since the title of the thread didn't start with "OT".

I don't think anyone can disprove your theory here Trim. And that says a lot.

LHC Bill Snyder isn't the man we thought he was!? :horrorsurprise:

It's like one of those magic eye pictures. Once you see it, you can't not see it.

Are you insane? Maybe UGA, but we will find out this weekend. Florida may have looked good vs FSU, but they have little to no offense. Oregon is the new VaTech and doesn't deserve it. You guys lost to Baylor and that LOOKS absolutely terrible.
That ND qb is not Manziel. While Bama does have holes in terms of pass rush and accuracy at QB, they would take it to ND imo. Their O line is simply beastly and would be, by far, the most physical team that ND has played. Plus, the biggest obvious factor, Nick Saban.

Alabama may be a top 2 team, but they haven't proved anything besides a miraculous comeback win against an overrated LSU team. Also, Stanford is a pretty physical team imo. Against the only good defense its faced (LSU), Alabama's offense put up 360 yards, and turned the ball over twice. Against the only good offense they faced, Alabama gave up nearly 420 yards, forced zero turnovers, and gave up 61% third down conversions. EG isn't Manziel, but he's the closest thing Alabama will have seen this season.
Alabama is definitely not invincible and will probably lose to Georgia.

Oregon's loss is better than either Alabama's or Georgia's. They should go to the title game.
-
eff oregon. I have no problem with either bama or georgia.

Oregon is probably the best team in the country, but they just don't have very many quality wins. The most deserving teams are Notre Dame, Florida, and Kansas State. Georgia could make an excellent case to move ahead of Florida and Kansas State with a win over Alabama. I'm not sure a win over Georgia should put Alabama ahead of Florida.

Florida? Really, have you watched them this year? They look very MEH and really have only looked good with the victory over FSU.

They have looked awful, but here they are at 11-1 with wins over A&M, LSU, South Carolina, and Florida State.
