Worse because he is physically larger.  Presents a greater threat of harm to gays, even if just in theory.

Serious comment here.  Burke and Hardaway are going to dominate our faces.

Burke is a flat out stud muffin.  Man that kid is great at basketball.  So fast.  Hardaway on the other hand might very well singlehandedly give the KSU cats the game.  He's good, but when he goes cold he is Michigan's most dangerous opponent.  rough rider won't stop shooting no matter how many he misses.  Can confirm.  Big Dog's son looks to be quite the beast.  Meat chicken is pretty rough ridin' talented.  After his first few seasons, I thought Belein was a goner.  Then he started raking in the talent, which is strange because he doesn't seem like he would be a good recruiter nor was that his rep at WVU.

Title: Re: Michigan
Post by: kso_FAN on November 23, 2012, 09:54:20 AM
We got this:

Quote
KANSAS STATE HEAD COACH JIM WOOLDRIDGE
On getting the win...
"We really needed that. It was a much-needed win for us. I told the kids after the game that I was really proud of the way they came out and started the game. I thought they played extremely hard again. I've been pleased all weekend with their effort. We've got a lot of improving to do as a team but it was a great win for us."

On K-State's big first-half run...
"We found some ways to get it in the basket and we rebounded the ball well. We were active and alive on the floor and it proved to be the difference in the game."

On letting Michigan get back in the game during the second half...
"This is the third game in three days and both teams were a little fatigued. We sent them to the line too much. They are an awfully talented team and we knew that they were going to be able to make some plays and hit some shots. But we were able to finish the game off at the free throw line. We got some lay-ups out of our press offense that proved to be just enough at a critical time when they were making their run that kept our spirits up and our confidence up."

On K-State's defense throughout the tournament...
"I thought we played great defense, particularly tonight when we've played back-to-back-to-back games. The effort has been great and that's what has kept us in these games."

KANSAS STATE PLAYERS
Senior Forward Matt Siebrandt
On his play at the Paradise Jam...
"I finally played well and I'm just happy to get a win. It's been a frustrating few days. We played well but we didn't pull out any wins and I didn't play the way I needed to play to be successful. It was a frustrating weekend and it's nice to go out on a high note."

On the game...
"We're starting to play well together on the offensive end. We played good defense all week and the offense started to click and we were able to go on a little run in the first half. Everyone was playing together."

On his difficult start to the season...
"The teams we've play have really sagged down on us and it's been hard for me and Pervis to do much down low. It was a frustrating two games, but I think we've learned from it and hopefully the next time we see that we'll be able to adjust."

Senior forward Pervis Pasco
On his play during K-State's first two games...
"It was really frustrating. Coming out I wasn't really in the flow of the game and I probably rushed things a little bit. I think I basically just tried to do too much instead of being myself and getting the team into a rhythm."

On the importance of getting a win over Michigan...
"This is a big confidence builder for us because we were coming in with two losses. It was a great win for us as a team."

Junior guard Frank Richards
On his play and getting a win...
"I knew I had to just go out and relax, be myself and get the team to work with me and everything flowed the way it was supposed to."

On K-State's keys to victory...
"We had good energy today and we were determined to get a least one win. We looked at each other before the game as said 'we're going to get this on.' And we just buckled down. We came out playing hard."

On how important the win was for K-State...
"We needed this win bad to restore our confidence and be emotionally ready to come back next Saturday (vs. Northwestern)."

On the game...
"It certainly wasn't perfect. We need to continue to work on executing our offense, rotate on defense and do the small things.

"We should be able to build some momentum off of this win and keep it going."

On hitting 4 of 4 free throws in the final 21 seconds...
" Coach (Wooldridge) told us that's how you close out a game. It was very important for me, especially mentally and I had to step up for my team and help us win. Down the road this gives me some confidence that I can hit the big, clutch shots."

Junior guard Jarrett Hart
On the reason for K-State's improved play...
"I think we had a better flow tonight. We were much crisper in our passing and in our offensive sets. Coach (Wooldridge) emphasized that today in our meetings and I think we came out and did that. We also picked up our intensity and played with more consistency."

Yikes just saw the score, that is a downer for sure. I base almost all of my confidence, or lack of confidence, on comparing scores of common opponents. This does not bode well for my confidence.

Doris very complimentary of the KSU cats bench engagement.

Doris has yet to say one thing that has to do with what is happening on the court in front of her.

how does ksu look compared to watching an illinois team?

If you mean Weber's squads, and I'm sure you do, I'd say they look pretty 2008-09 right now.  Angel is better offensively than Chet, but Chet was better defensively.  JO on the offensive end is very reminiscent of Mike Davis that season.  Bunch of midrange jumpers that went in.  It's a bit of a dur comment, but when that team made it's jump shots, the offense could look very sound.  They didn't get to the rim much and didn't shoot many free throws.  Good defensively, like whole greater than the sum of the parts type deal and they boarded well.  Still when they weren't hitting jump shots, it was a 38-33 home loss to Taylor Battle and Penn State.  This team is clearly better offensively than that squad, but that's what it brings to mind.

KSU needs more "left handed layup" practice.  BAM was a wizard in UIC.

Well the bright side is you still get on Sportscenter except it's so they can say that your team set basketball back 100 years followed by some obligatory hurr hurr hurrs.

Great, we have a broad calling our game.  At least she has a really deep voice.

Doris Burke...no one cares about your personal stories... :goodbyecruelworld:.

Jesus, you can totally tell she is from Venus.  HEY LADY, WE ARE FROM MARS, WE DO NOT WANT TO "COMMUNICATE FOR UNDERSTANDING" WITH YOU!

Man I should know better than to bad mouth Hardaway Jr before a game.  Sorry guys I might have reverse jinxed him.  If you need me I'll be hanging snuggly from his nut suck the rest of the game.  Tangent, is it racist for him to do that to Sprads?  MiR?

Last week I dogged the attendance at Bram on twitter and The Animal responded with "Just keep winning".  gonna totally retweet that as soon as I watch what sounds like an absolute abortion of a game on tivo tonight.

When you loose your team in the 6th game of the season and the 6th game of your tenure it's a bad omen, or for those who want oscar gone it could be a good omen.

Does anyone know if oscar has any heart problems?

Is Hardaway Jr. as big of piece of crap homophobe as his dad? All signs point to yes.

FWIW, he apologized for what he said.  He's contributed dollars to equal rights causes and works with The Trevor Project.

And Mel Gibson still does motion pictures with Jews.

Seriously, how is the line on this game only 4.5?

that's a rough ridin' stupid comparison
