...some homeless guy was in the concourse area shouting to all the K-State fans as we scrambled silently for the exits:

"HA HA HA KANSAS STATE IS OVER!  YOU'RE OVER!  YOU'RE DONE!  HA HA HA"

Nobody said a word to him.  Because we all believed it.  We thought that was our only shot and we would never be on that precipice again.

Do you believe that tonight?

I don't.
