Title: Point to a moment when things went south.
Post by: SPE_khat on November 17, 2012, 11:00:55 PM
Tre Walkers injury. The dude is the soul of the defense.  :barf: against OSU. Decent against TCU because their offense is sub-pud. The lack of Tre really took 3 games to manifest... and it showed tonight. It was bad guys... really bad.

Tre's has not been on the field that much but he does appear to be the most vocal leader on the D by far.  The offense has been the problem since CK got sketti brained vs OSU

During the Texas Tech game when we couldn't seem to stop Daygee at all.

The forced fumble in the 3rd quarter just delayed the inevitable.

OLine chemistry started screwing up once they started rotating him in when he came back from injury, IMO.

Pease dropping two passes in a row was when I sat down and went "we're mumped."

that wasnt the moment for me but i can see that. chris harper missed one later too which i think was on third down.

for me it was in the 3rd quarter we were only down by 11 and baylor went for it on a 4th and 3 or 4th and 4 and we had guys there that could have in theory could have stopped him but he fought enough for the first down. thats when i knew it was over. up until that point I was still hopeful

Getting ranked #1.  We got full of ourselves and went soft.  No other explanation for getting absolutely manhandled and pushed around by Baylor.

I lost almost all hope in the first drive of the second half.  We'd just scored 10 in a row.  Surely, we could scheme a drive together after halftime that would cut the lead to 4.  But instead we threw an interception that led to a touchdown.

After we marched the ball right down the field the 1st drive and then we decided to run 1,000,000 straight pass plays

Oh, and I feel Zimmerman has a lot more to do with our defense than we previously thought, so last week I guess

That one little dink pass to Thompson when he didn't even turn around to try to catch it?

The two consecutive drops by Pease in the second quarter?

Collin losing his cool and yelling at Hubert for not picking up the blitz?

The first one.  Set the tone for the entire game after making a stop in the backfield.

I was OK with that.  Hubert is God-awful at pass protection and Klein's the one who gets physically punished for it, I have no problem with Klein yelling at Hubert to get his crap together and stop whiffing on every block.

Everyone on the team was manhandled from beginning to end.  That can't be it.  Try again.

BU holding KSU to a FG before the half.  TD would have made it a one score game with KSU getting the ball to start half 2.  Kept it a 2 score game which got BU to a lead that influenced KSU offensive playcalling in half 2 earlier.

Honestly had a bad feeling after that FG as well. The non-horrible version of the 2012 football cats scores a td there.

You applied to Kansas State.

'Course given how few options you had I suppose that it might be excusable.

Why so bitter?  Your team won.

Oh, that's right.  Because you're second to last in the conf and a big win like this could take another 10 years.

Yeah, I get it.

Offsides.  Any of them
pretty obvious when even espn points out why that is happening

The excuse given by ESPN and LHC Bill Snyder was complete bullshit. The center manipulating the ball before the snap had nothing to do with Adam Davis lining up a full yard offsides every time he was on the field.

You know what did?  The lemon/gnat booty made Davis line up in the neutral zone.
