Him: "Hey, even if you guys lose you're still making a BCS game."
Me: "I WANT IT ALL" :curse:
-
Yeah, really starting to hate it when people act like the Fiesta Bowl matters
-
Him: "Hey, even if you guys lose you're still making a BCS game."
Me: "I WANT IT ALL" :curse:
My how far we have come over the course of the past three months. :emawkid:
-
an OSU customer that I have calls me once a week to ask about the team. every week he says "ESPN says that it'll be Alabama and Oregon. They did it to us last year!"
-
Him: "Hey, even if you guys lose you're still making a BCS game."
Me: "I WANT IT ALL" :curse:
I would have punched him in the face and then screamed "I WANT IT ALL" and then :lynchmob: in front of his crying face
-
yeah eff that guy
-
Texas guy at work has been off all week and have not been able to gloat about being #1. :curse:
Notre Dame guy smugly says they don't want to play us and would rather play Oregon or some SEC team. I said "pfft, you probably don't need to worry about it #3". :gocho:

I want an SEC team so when we destroy them we won't hear "well if the SEC wasn't so tough they would have won it again." But no matter who we beat that crystal ball is going to be fun to play with next year. I wonder how far Sams can throw it?
-
Ran into a Notre Dame T-Shirt fan (arent they all) today and it's just amazing how much they know we would dominate them. Like the third thing he said was I dont think we get past USC, they wont make our D look dumb but they will outscore us. Just bending over already.
-
KU fans saying "K-State deserves to be #1 and its great, but let's see how you handle the pressure of being the #1 team."
-
If Oregon loses and ND wins out, will the game even be played? Can't we poll 100 college football analysts, and if it's unanimous that we will win, then they just give us the trophy?
-

I wonder how far MIR can throw it?

Your company certainly has a well rounded janitorial staff.

Did they offer any advice? I mean with them being a perennial football powerhouse they might have something to offer in that regard.

I didn't ask, but I'm sure it was the classic backhanded compliment tied to the basketball fallback. Ie, "we've been in the same position so many times in basketball we know exactly what its like".

Yea, those two things are TOTALLY the same.
-
I swear to God this happened. Co-worker last Friday to me (wearing an EMAW polo) "Oh, does K-State play this weekend?"
He has avoided me all week and will from here on out, especially on Fridays.

That's the price you pay for being an elite.

Depends, are they tiny Gooch steps or monster MIR strides? This debate will probably never be settled.
-
Also, you guys realize that if we do lose, the poll folks will straight drop us to like 9 or 10 and we will be cotton bowling or something, right?
-
Nope, fiesta
-
I won't go to the Fiesta Bowl. I'm telling you right now if we lose and have to play in the Fiesta Bowl I will not go.
-
Fiesta attendance will depend greatly on the matchup - thank god Louisville lost

Louisville is still going to win the Big East, so some BCS bowl will have to take those losers.

We've handled the pressure of being undefeated for 10 games so far and their basketball team couldn't handle it for more than one one game
Advantage K-State

I guess I am jumping the gun on the AQ for conferences going away?

Yeah, they don't go away until the playoff starts.
