that's 20 straight losses to BCS opponents for good ol' rawk chawk. :sdeek:, the nations longest.
Not quite 1986-88 KSU....but that is pretty stinky....
We're approaching critical mass here folks.
-
Going to be interesting to see if Chuck fires this new QB kid for Heap, or if he learned his lesson and makes Heap win the job.
-
@Rice and La Tech at home next year before Big 12 play.....bet they can make it to 30 straight
-
Its all gonna end on Saturday. Hawks 27 Clones 17 :tsc:

KU will smoke Iowa and I will fist pump
-
I believe in KU this weekend. ISU and KU have been going in opposite directions. Hell, KU might take WV for the same reasons
-
Nope. Ole "3 wins" has to get the third one and this is it. Then losing at home to WVU will be just fine.
-
KU is going to beat ISU this weekend. If I was a guy who bet on sports I'd bet the money line on the hawks.
-
I had 2 people try to give me tickets for this game today. should be PACKED. :dubious:
-
Losing out is harder than winning out IMO, actually quite impressive what they have going.
-
Well, at least it's basketball season, so maybe the Squawks can go undefeated in their sport now
-
KU is probably do for a win.
They are 1-30 in Big 12 games since Reesing led them to victory up in Ames, the first conf game of the 09 season.

Would be pretty awesome for the state. Hopefully they live up to their end.

This might deserve it's own thread! Can you imagine if the state of Kansas went undefeated in both football and basketball! :excited:
TEEE ESSSS SEEEEE TEEEE EEESSS SEEE TTEEE ESSSS SSSEEEEE

That streak is going to end in the next couple of weeks.

That streak is going to end in the next couple of weeks.
I agree, dax. The last 2 teams they're playing are deflated, don't seem to enjoy playing as of late, and KU is doing their darnedest to win a game before the season's over. WVU and ISU will have to play pretty well to beat KU, and I don't think the players will believe that. I think they will assume they can just show up and go through the motions to win, and that isn't true at this point.
-
KU's running game is actually serviceable and James Sims can break tackles. Dang.
but Cyclone fans will console themselves by saying "well, Paul Roades wants to be here and win the right way".
-
TSC is a bunch of crap, eff KU....i hope they never win another game in any sport ever again

i despise ku, just how i was brought up

Hey now. We can't all be like Oregon and have Colorado as a winless punching bag dragging our SOS down. :dubious:
-
I feel bad for them to be honest, I wish they were better but we still kicked their taints in every year.
-
They have a chance to win it this weekend, but Chuck has a way of losing the few games he should win. Seems a bit like Stan Parish in that regard.
-
I think KU has a pretty good shot on Saturday, but I also thought they had a pretty good shot against Baylor.

KU beat Iowa State at home in '09, 41-36. Actually started top 15 that year.
-
i can't imagine losing 20 straight conference games. wow, t&p's beems
-
Would probably be 31 straight if Hawk hasn't recruited his son to play QB.

You're in the wrong place. We TSC around these parts.
TSC is a giant, steaming pile of malarkey. Not only is it inconsistent (ie do you really think that San Diego State finds itself rooting on USC given the chance?) but it's also stupid. I cheer for teams other than the Cats when and ONLY when it DIRECTLY impacts the Cats. Otherwise screw KU, eff the rest of the conference, and no thank you to somehow being obligated to cheer for a team I despise.
Because like I said, it's stupid. Fork in a toaster, stupid.
-
Week 7 of 2009 just so happens to be the last time they beat a member of the current Big 12 conference.
If you are a senior at KU this year, you got to see one win over Iowa State back when you were a freshman. That win lifted 5-0 KU up to 15th in the nation. Then they lost the last 6 games of the year. The only other conference win they "might" have seen was when KU scored 35 in the fourth quarter against CU to erase a 28 point deficit. in 2010. When they were sophomores.
That's it. And while the CU win is amazing and historic, almost nobody stuck around to see it.
Nobody that goes to school at KU now has any idea what it's like to have a football team that doesn't lose virtually every game.

Is losing like eleventy-billion conference games in a row harder than winning the BCS NC? I think it is. :sdeek:

malarkey

It's definitely rarer. Somebody wins the BCS NC every year. Impossible to lose 20 straight conference games in one year.
