Title: Baylor Game
Post by: _33 on November 12, 2012, 09:54:04 PM
This game scares me more than the Texas game.  Isn't that so weird?  I was thinking that maybe it was just because this game was next.  Any other ideas?

Math says there's a 13% chance.  This is one of the ones the BCS uses & its eerily accurate.

That says we had an 89% chance to beat Tech a 60% chance to beat OU.  Methinks your little math system is flawed.  First time I've used methinks in a post. Felt great.

out of ok lite, tcu, baylor, and texas, tcu was the game i was most nervous about. it was weird. i was happy to leave ft worth. this weeks starting to give me the same feeling. can't be overly confident with born-again aggie.

doesn't take depth into account, no way we're at an 87% with where we're at. i feel confident enough. but hard to justify that chance with our defense not for sure yet.

fwiw Nick Florence has some terrifying numbers. However his completion % is not one of them, compared to other QBs

OU was playing most of the game with 7 DBs...i had no idea what the eff the Stoops' were doing, but it explains how Baylor had over 250 yards rushing.
 :bill: won't let that happen

We won both & it predicted we would.  How is that flawed?

We have some of the best leaders we've ever had, I trust them and Snyder will make sure all 16 goals are fulfilled.

Having a good offense and a good defense is a prerequisite in order to beat K-State this year.  But even that standard wasn't enough for OU, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State to overcome.

Anyways:

Baylor
Good offense: (https://goemaw.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.clipartguide.com%2F_small%2F0808-0710-2914-4641.jpg&hash=b28b748d5f2057682ae2b2841a9ec7c4ce5614f6)

Good defense:(https://goemaw.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ftheaveragejess.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2012%2F02%2Fredx-300x297.jpg&hash=4cadffd8181d501605a1ed75934588d9658bc4fd)

RG3 last year, Smith, Doege this year were all better than Florence.  We're fine.  Bend, don't break, and create turnovers.  We should be fine.

I think so too, but I'm slightly nervous with out Zimms. At least Baylor hasn't put up a fight on defense the entire year

They had (have?) the worst defense in all of the FBS without playing the best offense in their conference.

Don't be an idiot.  Guess where the math comes from...   The play on the field.

Their stats suck because their players suck. We got this.

Baylor can't turn the ball over ONCE, or they are done....

TCU should have gotten ripped apart but we left our pair of aces in our hand for next Saturday. We have pent up anger....blood to spill.

pfft. try for january. schnyder schemebot do his work.  :billdance:

bill knows how to play minimalistically, and still not fub up. he doesn't have anyone to impress now that Bama's gone, really. he's got to win by a couple scores and he'll do that.

why try and open up the throttle when your #1?
