getting brown back really helps them. i don't want them to be good, but it will be nice if they are top 10 when we play.

it's all so confusing. a few weeks ago i wanted them to be completely awful so we could party for two weeks without a care in the world and polish our trophy after putting 60 on 'em. then i started getting scared about oregon jumping us, so i wanted them to be top 10. now i'm all  :ohno: they might be really good and give us a real dogfight

We have a bye week before. And it's Snyder vs. Mack Brown. We'll be fine.

I mean texas really likes money, right?  Maybe they can be convinced that they'd get more of it having the Big XII represented in the MNC rather than just one team in a regular BCS bowl.

I mean, just let it go, Mack -- don't even gameplan. Just roll the ball out there and let'em play, Frank style.

I'm not sure they're rounding into form. They barely beat KU. They barely beat WVU (granted that was a while ago). We dominated TT, and they barely beat them. And we will have the rowdiest home crowd we've ever had, plus the Big 12 refs on our side.

In conference games they're last in yards per carry allowed, yards per game given up, and have given up 17 rushing TD's, better only than the 18 that Baylor has allowed in conference games.

Can somebody please list all the teams from Texas that could come into a sub-freezing BSFS in December on Klein, Brown, Harper, etc's Senior night with a trip to the BCS game on the line, our crowd totally juiced, (both literally and figuratively) and pull off a win in that scenario?

I'm not even sure the Cowboys or Texans could given all the above.

We play BAYLOR this coming weekend; then have this conversation.  Something about chickens and hatching and counting...

Baylor is scarier than Texas because they at least have the ability to score more than 20 points against us, but it's just more fun talking about Texas. We will completely obliterate them both.

Sure, but Baylor doesn't have the ability to hold us to less than 50.

BU's record is also a tad misleading because they have played 4 of 6 Big 12 games on the road so far.

*note: not really worried about Baylor

Yeah, we should crush them, but it's pretty scary to think what might happen if another one of our safeties get hurt.
