I know right?  I don't know what it means, and I don't really care all that much, but I sure do enjoy these customer friendly fuel prices!

:driving:  <--- after filling up at current gas prices.

Are gas prices lower in Nebraska?  Gas prices here are down $0.07 from 2 days ago, but still $0.15 higher than they were 2 weeks ago.

Yeah, may go below $3 soon. I have no idea why they are going down but put it on the politics board because inevitably someone would have pitted it. 100 mile RT daily commute FTL slightly less!

I always lol when I come up for games.  When I left for the Tech game I filled up at $2.90, drove 50 miles north and it was $3.20.  By the time I hit Yates Center it was $3.43.

That's probably not happening unless the economy tanks again.

Just out of high school, in the early '70's, I paid 25 cents per gallon (sometimes less) to gas my V-8. Now I feel old. Thanks. Hopefully, this thread will not lead to erectile dysfunction for me.

In the late '90's, I paid in the high $0.80's/gallon in OK.

it was $0.83 in St Louis on Dec 6, 1998.  I emptily stared at that number  on my way out of town trying to figure out what had just happened the day before.

Nothing is older than talking about gas prices including talking about weather.

True, but there is nothing that affects the poor more than energy prices.

It is fun talking about Gas Prices when you've got video of Nancy Pelosi melting down at $3 a gallon gas calling for congressional hearings etc. etc. back in 2006-7-8.   But when gas is $4.27 a gallon in her district under Obama . . . crickets.
