Title: How much does losing Walker hurt us?

He did not seem really effective this year, but great emotional leader.

Not enough that we should worry about losing a game because of it.

he can probably be an even better emotional leader on the sidelines

"win this one for tre" etc

He was pretty good at holding up the other teams O-Line while some other cats got into the backfield but he didn't really have any great games.

I think Childs is a better LB and Truman has stepped up. I honestly think LB is our deepest position.

only 10th in tackling. This being our biggest loss this season isn't much to complain about, imo although I love Tre and losing his five hearts may suck

some guy on gpc just noted that tre was on his 5th snap when he got hurt in the second half. interesting, to say the least.

Will it be a combo of Childs/Evans who fills his role?

Does Tuggle play OLB? Because I've only seen him used as a DE.

Hurts us the most when we play tejas because we would not be in the nickel. Childs will slide in for him so not that much of a loss. Hurts our depth the most.

Played OLB some early i'm the year, but Childs has pretty much taken over as the 2nd LB in the nickel which we spend like 80 percent of the time in.

8man - I am with you on Truman....I really don't see our depth getting too thin.  Bad loss none the less.
