What a great moment, just for Arthur.
I was in a bar watching the game with my sister (EMAW), bro in law (EMAW in training) and his family (non-EMAWs). Even though the game was in hand, i stood up and let out a pretty loud "YEAH!" while pumping each of my arms up and down. They understood that it was good for K-State, but didn't really understand my ostentatious appreciation for this touchdown in particular.
My Dad and I were talking on the phone today, and he put it pretty well. He said that it was a time where the whole stadium could cheer just for Arthur. The crowd wasn't cheering for any reason in the context of the game, really. In its simplest form, it was just another meaningless turnover and touchdown in a game that was already in hand.
But for us, it was more than that. It was a moment for EMAWs in attendance and around the world to pause and give a big loud "YEAH!" in appreciation of Arthur Brown. A great player, and an even better man.

I was so happy for him. He's been so good to KSU.

I LIKED READING THIS

It was the touchdown I got most crazy for.
-
I jumped up and fist pumped etc. Spilled my beer. Was a great moment.
-
Favorite moment of 2012? It might be my favorite moment of 2012. Hubert's flex in Norman or Baby Lockett's toe tap in WV would be other nominees.
-
Have the game on in a different tab, and after reading this thread I switched over to the game. What play was just beginning? You guessed it. :D :lynchmob:
THE JUDGE PRESIDING!
-
While watching the game on tv I was mostly quiet (just clapping & fist pumping). But when ABJ got the pick 6 I jumped up & yelled really loud. I didn't even hear Gus say "ARTHUR..........BROWN...........JR. Touchdown K-State!"
:lynchmob:
-
I picked up stunz and threw him over my head.. literally :sdeek: he wasn't ready for it.. great moment
-
I went, yesss, and fist pumped.then realized who it was and shrieked GOOOO like a girl.
-
Arthur deserved this moment a million times over. I suspect he will do it again.
-
I'm amazed that Daygee didn't throw more picks, felt like we dropped a dozen
-
I was so happy for him. He's been so good to KSU.

That was effing awesome. Gus and the rest of the FOX K-State network crew are great.

Was a KU side of the fam's house. Sound wasn't on. They rewound it twice to see it replayed. TSC'ing and that is saying a lot from this specific crew. Also, they love the KstateMask. Love him. Like, a lot. They have all watched all of his vids and like them. Not in a do so to make fun of KSU way, but they actually think it is funny.
They always try to talk to me about them and they can't understand why I have only watched one.

They might feel that Mask vids are of high artistic value, as well as kinda gay. Squaks can relate, I guess.

It was the touchdown I got most crazy for.
He basically blew the doors off the game with that play. BOOM.
Hubert crushing that D-Back to take the ball to the pylon was also an awesome moment, IMHO.

Yes, when he bounced outside and turned that corner I believe that was an example of this team 'bowing up'

Go right ahead and take that crap over to kstatefans or GPC, tia.

Guys, I like Hubert as much as anyone in the world (except for maybe his family or girlfriend or teammates or whatever), but this thread is just for Arthur's interception and how it made us so happy.
So let's go ahead to keep discussion directly related to the pick six and maybe some discussion about Arthur in general.
OK?

I hugged his parents in Norman. I think they smelled good. They were definitely beautiful. When you get close to them, it's almost like you are standing in a shower with 10 shower heads showering you with EMAW.
