Title: Run-ins with TExas Tech fans
Post by: Dugout DickStone on October 27, 2012, 12:32:44 PM
There is a TT grad who wrenches at my gym.  He fixes the toilet and stuff.  I think they let him live in a utility closet in exchange.  Anyway, on weekends they will let him get a few sets in.  So, he was going for 225 (pud) on the bench and I agreed to spot him.  He got it about halfway up and couldn't move it anymore so I told him "relax, I'll rack it", waited 3 seconds and let it drop onto his chest.

Then I did high-stepper cat right next to the bench as he struggled to get a breath, a bunch of dudes high fived me.
