I've heard of them on the radio but have never confirmed a sighting on the internet. I've heard that sand is really bad for the internet.

Also, I would not expect the fanbase for a team whose mascot is a 19th century racist to embrace the internet that much.

Living in a suburb of Dallas, I saw a bunch of "Tech fans" at Buffalo Wild Wings while there game vs TCU was going on.  I'm still not sure if they were too stupid, or too poor, to realize that the game was only 40 miles away.

I did offer T's & P's for them, however.

You can only question the image of our program when we play NON-CON games. Texas Tech is Big 12, Piggaggie is SEC and CoalAggie is Big East

Interesting point about no Tech fans on the internet.  The Tech grads I work with are clearly the worst at their jobs than grads of other schools, and the job relies on basic computer knowledge and internet savviness.  They're always getting yelled at and sent out to wash the car fleet.  It's kind of sad, most have families to support.

What does the "Tech" stand for anyway?  Is it like "A&M" where it doesn't really mean anything?

From what I've heard they're basically DeVry with a football team.  It's amazing to think they've been in the same conference all this time and we don't know much about them.

Then this really needs to be brought up to someone.  These admissions vultures who play by their own rules basically trick poor people to go into big debt for classes that won't transfer anywhere because there's no accreditation.  They lure people into loading up on classes with the hope that they can either transfer to a real school, like UTSA or something of the sort, or get out into the workforce.  They get their hopes up with easy grades and home football games, only to set them up for a lifetime of failure.  I can't believe this can happen in this country today.  It really makes you think.  :frown:

Unbelievable that they remain in the conference. Let me make sure I get this straight. Timmy Tuberville (overall bad person/bad looking person) purposefully gives hard working players concussions, and locks them in sheds for weeks at a time. All this comes out, and he is STILL coaching at University of Texas, Lubbock campus? Didn't well-known stud coach of the beloved Jayhawks get fired for swear words? Just seems a little extreme, IMHO, that they care about winning (or not, lol) so much that Tech wouldn't fire a known abuser like Tuberville just to get a marquee win over WV (lol). Just sad.

Playing Texas Tech most definitely hurts the image of our program.  Mrs. Tuberville murdered an innocent old man with her car and the Lubbock PD just swept the whole thing under the rug.  Mr. Tuberville has scammed investors out of money with a Madoff-like Ponzi scheme.  Those two are just shitty people, like peas in a pod.  Hope we beat them worse than we smashed Coal Aggie.
