That game has lead to some heated discussions on online sports message boards, including one called goEMAW. Schulz took to Twitter, earlier this week, to distance his school from some of the comments there.
He tweeted the following: "K-State is proud to have West Virginia as a member of the Big 12 (Conference) - postings on goEMAW are NOT representative of K-State."
President Schulz says he thought something needed to be said. "I just felt, as an institution, we need to make sure, as new members of the Big 12 Conference, that folks know that we value West Virginia being in there," he said.
That's just shocking. Did Jon Wefald suck Bevo's dick like this? No! He hammered "wealthy arrogant Texans" before the first Big XII game against them then talked about how sweet it was to beat the hell out of wealthy arrogant Texans, especially in Austin, later. Say what you want about the Weefer but there's a reason we own Texas.
If we don't own WVU there will be a reason for that too. :shakesfist:
