Yep.

Wondering if JHR gets a healthy portion of minutes to defend the rim.  He did pretty well against UNT's small guards today.

I suggest your guys come out in the old school shorty shorts.  They'll be so jealous they won't know what to do.

OK, you're done. Your team lost. You can go now.... You didn't buy tickets for the next game, did you?

I've never experienced such complicated emoticons.  (https://goemaw.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gomeangreen.com%2Fforums%2Fpublic%2Fstyle_emoticons%2Fdefault%2Fmellow.gif&hash=a76d3753cfe60d178f4c14ad5efc0a3777c21600)
Really though, if your guys bring their C-game I don't see them at all capable of keeping up with that speed.

Different refs.  The Mormons shoot like 90% from the line.

White players will be their ultimate downfall

Dave Rose is the anti-Don Haskins.

Frank Martin is the Cuban-American Don Haskins.

Florida's defense is soft and not good.  BYU plays in a soft conference. We need to get in their face early and set the tone. No easy shot's.

If they are calling hand checks it could be a long night. If they let us play physical I don't see this one being much of a problem.

well, the underlying theme to my post was to do to Jimmer Fridette what we did to Klay Thompson, and then we will win by a lot of points.

Quote from cougarboard:

If you had never seen Jimmer play until today, what would you think?

I'd be thinking "the guy doesn't have much shot outside, let him shoot and take away his dribble drive, and keep a guy near the basket to swat all those underhand shots."

I hope that's all that K-State see's. Leave him open on 3.

You guys completely forgot about Lorenzo Romar

Fredette is very good, but he's no James Anderson.  JMHO.  Granted, Fredette is surrounded by some better pieces, and probably more skilled players, but let's not go crazy.  OSU would probably have a similar record if they played BYU's schedule, I'd say their pretty similar in level of difficulty.

Defensively we need to pressure the perimeter and be very physical.  Yeah, we'll give up some fouls and BYU is likely to convert, but its more important to keep them out of rhythm offensively and stop their penetrate and kick game as well as transition game.  And we should have a very big advantage on the boards.

Offensively, if they want to run, we need to match it b/c they won't have anyone that can stay with Clemente.  We just need to finish opportunities.  They do nice things defensively, but we'll present some problems that they haven't seen; this is another game where our bigs can have a major impact if they attack, but under control so they don't give up run-out producing TOs.
