Title: wireless question
Post by: Kat Kid on October 13, 2012, 11:41:15 PM: so I reset my wireless, but now it is unsecured and the stupid not connected light is blinking on the airport plug. I am connected to the internet, but I want to rename/secure my network.

wut do?

Post by: star seed 7 on October 14, 2012, 02:00:42 AM: if it's an older router, then yeah, hook it straight up to a laptop or something via ethernet cable, and then go to the link provided above. should let you change any settings on it.

newer ones come with built in default network names and passwords, usually displayed on a sticker or something on the router itself.
