Title: Weather Saturday

I have family that works at ISU says that they are having meetings with KSU/NCAA/BIG12 about what they are going to do. Sounds like severe storms in the morning and then in the afternoon tornadic storms. So they are worried about getting the game started and then finished.

can't decide if this works in our favor or not. on the one hand, their crowd will be completely out of the game (not that an Iowa State crowd has ever been much of a concern) but on the other hand our travel plans may be mumped up causing us to get out of our routine. our running game is so amazing that the rain won't slow us down if it comes.

Maybe instead of taking the team plane to Ames, we should just charter a flight on a plane with those floaty things. The team could land right out in front of the stadium and then make a quick getaway before God unleashes hell.

Rent a car for the trip (make sure to get the extra insurance). Strap 2 Sea Doos on top of the car. After the game, jet ski your way to safety.

Snyds in hip waders?  :crossfingers:

Very important question: what does Snyder wear during a monsoon? Does he break out the '01 Cotton Bowl parka, because it may not be rain proof. It'll definitely be warm enough, but not rain proof. Does he go with the '99 Holiday bowl wind breaker? Light weight and could be rain proof. Guys, I think he goes with the '10 Pinstripe bowl super enhanced weather gear.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rhoads did forfeit.  I mean, he knows he has no chance.  Might as well forfeit so he can say, "oh, it was only because of the rain!"  Much less embarrassing for him/the university.

When attending games in Iowa be sure and take your pig costume because they will rescue hogs in Iowa.  After rescue be sure and take the cos
tume off or you will end up at a Tyson kill plant

Guys, their players are going to be exhausted from filling sandbags all today and tomorrow in prep for the guaranteed flooding.  This is in the bag(not sandbag, just figuratively speaking).

Also, how many players will be able to cling to the "Family" 4x4 in case of flood?  Maybe we should issue all players one?  :dunno:

I'd say it would be a wise decision to bring the flare gun AND the assault rifle.  It's gonna get ugly when the flood aggies realize there aren't enough lifeboats for everyone.

Say the entire state of Iowa floods this weekend like we all know it will. And say you have a canoe that can safely float four people to safety.

As you are paddling along you see four K-Staters treading water/drowning. You suddenly realize they happen to be Heisman Contender and married man CK, Future Ring of Honor inductee Darren Sproles, Lil Baby Lockett, and LHC LHC Bill Snyder himself.

Again, the canoe can only float four people to safety away from the flood grounds that is the state of  Iowa.

Who gets a ride to safety?

This

Put them all in the boat, I'd swim/hang along the side.  We then embark on a series of pirating expeditions and use our tremendous physical power to overtake one of the FloodAggie boats to begin our fleet.  Commodore Snyder would not partake in the pirating, but would play a huge role in the battle schemes.

The canoe is rated for four people?  Pull them all in.  Sproles, HCBS, and little tiny baby lockett barely equal 2 people together.  You'd be fine pulling all four in.

Anyone here attending the game needs to wear clothes that they are comfortable disposing of after the game.  Once an article of clothing acquires the smell of wet Iowans it's ruined, can't get that out.

Really the smell of Iowa will make your stuff smell better than Kansas so you might as well just help your state out.

Honestly, this kind of worries me.  Rain favors the inferior team because it makes things unpredictable.

I think it will temper the crowd a little bit, which is good, but man, this is going to suck.

Their crowd has never been a factor, rain won't change that.

All jokes aside, the weather is going to be absolute crap on Saturday. Hail storms and strong winds. Expect a game delay or two.

Beginning to think it will just be rain for Iowa. The nasty bad stuff may be down in Manhattan though.
