its common knowledge that ISU is the worst program among BCS conferences, will that hurt us in the polls? you have to think it will

Unless three teams ahead of us all lose again, yes, we will drop.

If this weekend taught us anything, it's that pollsters care very little about beating Big 12 bottom dwellers.
Kind of a raw deal.

for me, this is the main reason i want them out of the conference. its nothing personal, i love isu, but we need to do whats best for us and the rest of the big 12.

Honestly, I think it depends more on if OU beats UT than us beating ISU handily. At least in the BCS rankings, which is what ultimately matters.
-
winning by less than 35 drops us from the top 10 IMO
-
man i wish the big 12 was like the sec where we could beat isu by 3 field goals and a safety and jump 6 spots. But noooooooooo we have to go out and get style points
-
The worst part is, they aren't even that bad of a team, but when the pollsters look at the results of the weekend and see a win over Iowa State, it might as well be some directional school. Fair or not, this will hurt us in the rankings unless we beat them by 30+

Unfortunately, it's games like next weekend that give the ESPN talking heads ammo for their whole "Snyder pads the schedule by scheduling cupcakes" spiel.
