Title: Hey Purple Kitty Nation
Post by: MIClone on October 07, 2012, 10:56:27 PM
I keed, I keed (about the purple kitties).  I am a big K-State fan and I've pretty much always routed for them (for decades) whenever they are not playing the Cyclones.  It's great to see KSU and ISU matched up as two ranked teams.  I'm really looking forward to seeing how ISU fairs against another extremely tough KSU team.

I suppose I was kidding myself if I thought we wouldn't get this.

It's just that after having had the SEC and more elite Big 12 schools come around, I just can't get up for Iowa State stuff.  Ya know?

If you squint real hard their uniforms that they copied from USC almost make you think it IS USC.

Who did KSU play from the SEC?

Surprised that you guys are dismissing this game so easily.  I hope your players are as well, but I'm sure that they are not.  Seriously though, good luck this weekend.

This is a funny site.

Huh, we play ISU this week? Thought we already played them Sept. 29th, but I guess that was a bye week. Always get the two confused.  :dunno:

Remember when they thought they were going to tie it but then Lamur blocked the PAT?

That was maybe the Iowa State-iest moment of all time.  They just can't get out of their own ways, ya know?

I was there Dlew. My friends and I Hi-Fived pretty hard after that one. There was also a personal foul late in that game and most of the students started chanting "bad person! bad person!" It's was pretty immature, but boy was it fun.

"Haha at Iowa State because of the flood" and everything, but it IS bullshit that they're ahead of the curve re. moat-building.

Don't bandwagon KSU?  Are you kidding?  I said I've routed for them for decades.  That means I started routing for KSU when they were the worst team in college football.  Actually, that is WHY I started routing for them, because I always like the underdog.  It has been great to watch Snyder build this program and then bring it back again after the dip.

You guys can dream that your players are looking past ISU, but we all know that that isn't really happening.  I came over here to discuss the game, not smack talk. Am I on the wrong site for that?

Guys, let's be nice to him.  We're practically the same, anyway.  We both went through years of awful football, and we're all very midwestern-y.

The only difference is that we don't have a constant mildew smell and our tractors never need warmed up.

Only 2 differences!

Rationale he tries to pass off for why he's married to a total slob.  "Yeah fellas, I know she's really rough ridin' ugly and overweight and she's got a pretty solid stache, but I LOVE the underdog."  Yuck.

Also, flood aggie, the KSU cats are the overdog.  You hate them now.  Boom, logic.  Go enjoy a snack size bag of chips with taco fixings tossed in why don't you.  Go ahead and walk around why you're doing it too.  Boom, profiled.

I agree OK Cat! :D We both have ranked football teams, and we are both land grant universities. Unfortunately for them, their last conference or division championship was before World War One, while the Wild Wildcats have won one in this millennium!

OK Cat is right guys.  Be nice.  All you road trippers should take a second life raft for ISU'ers use when the flash flood of all their losery tears start.  Save your own life and that of a fellow conference bro.

No. The story of the Iowa St/TCU game was that Casey Pachall was suspended. TCU still finished with a 24-15 FD edge and 455-350 yd edge...

TCU handed over 5 turnovers or they would've won fairly easily.
